Job Summary:
San Francisco, California The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician for the Operating Room (OR) to support a variety of surgical procedures. The position involves assisting during surgeries by performing routine and delegated duties according to hospital standards and policies to ensure quality patient care. This role requires a skilled and experienced professional dedicated to maintaining high standards in a dynamic surgical environment.
Job Details:
- Position: Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician
- Specialty: ORT (Operating Room Technician)
- Location: 1101 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94109
- Schedule: 4 x 10 nights, 2100-0730; weekends included in schedule rotation. On-call required.
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Start Date: 09/08/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST or equivalent), BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, HS Diploma, GED or equivalent, 5 years of experience, and valid California licensure (if applicable).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with vascular, transplant, ophthalmology, spine, robotic, and cardiac surgeries. Prior experience in a surgical setting, especially in complex procedures, is highly desirable.
