Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) nurse position located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This role involves supporting a high-acuity cardiovascular intensive care unit that provides complex monitoring and treatment for adult cardiac patients. The nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and deliver a safe, comfortable, and pleasant experience for patients. The position requires flexibility in floating to other units and hospitals as needed.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associate degree in nursing, registered nurse license for the state of Alabama (or a compact license, with no temporary licenses accepted), two years of experience (or 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license with at least one recent year in the specialty).
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to other units/hospitals.
- Additional Information: Must be willing to work holidays and every other weekend. The role involves supporting a high-acuity cardiac care environment that demands professional competency and teamwork.
