Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Neurology Floor Nurse located in Janesville, Wisconsin. This position involves providing patient care on a neurology-focused surgical floor. The ideal candidate will be experienced in neurological patient care, adhering to hospital policies and standards, with the ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current Wisconsin nursing license, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification, and verification of education.
- Additional Information: Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) may be required to float to other units. The role involves administering prescribed medications and treatments, documenting care according to standards, developing patient care plans, participating in performance improvement activities, and supporting the patients longitudinal care plan through clinical expertise. The position requires every other weekend and holiday coverage, with shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
