Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position available in a healthcare facility on the nightshift. This role involves providing critical care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The position requires handling high-acuity cases and working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid state or compact license in hand at the time of submittal, and certifications including ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
  • Experience: 23 years of experience in emergency nursing.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, community hospital exposure, and travel experience preferred.
  • Additional Experience: Experience managing arterial lines, ventilated patients, and complex emergency cases such as trauma, stroke, and multisystem organ failure.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The unit maintains a patient census of approximately 34, with an average of 32 visits per day across 14 beds. Candidates must complete core onboarding modules within 48 hours of contract signing. The facility offers interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.
