Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room Nurse (RN)
• Location: Pasadena, Texas
• Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, starting 08/31/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) with Threatening, Incapacitating, and Combative (TIC) certification; minimum 1 year of experience working in emergency or trauma settings, with advanced critical thinking skills, and extensive trauma, STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Adult and pediatric emergency department experience, completed certifications aligned under HCA Nurse Contract and Pool List, experience with advanced monitors, defibrillators, ultrasound, and EKG machines.
• Responsibilities: Ability to perform procedures such as thoracotomy, arterial lines, and Massive Transfusion Protocol (MTP). Flexibility, accountability, responsibility, and team orientation are essential.
• Additional Information: This position may require float duties within two free-standing emergency departments if needed. Candidates must adhere to the unit's dress code of royal blue scrubs and follow all unit policies and guidelines. Alternate weekend work and on-call shifts are required.
