Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Somerset, Kentucky. The role involves providing specialized care in a Level 2 Special Care Nursery, supporting neonates including full-term, early-term, and pre-term infants within a busy hospital environment. Job Details:

• Location: 305 Langdon Street, Somerset, KY 42503
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Experience in a Level 2 neonatal nursery or higher; Certifications including Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE, Basic Life Support (BLS); 2 years of relevant experience; able to attend all deliveries and initiate NRP resuscitation; Must have at least 2 years of neonatal intensive care experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU); ability to handle diagnoses such as NAS/NOWS, TTN, IV antibiotics, Bubble Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP), OG/NG feeds.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be comfortable working in a unit with 8 beds, patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3, and supporting full-term and pre-term neonates. The facility employs Meditech and GE Centricity electronic health record systems. Professional attire includes hospital-issued royal blue scrubs; hoodies and sweatshirts are not permitted. Coverage for leave; no float requirement specified.
