Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; Current New York State Registered Nurse License; BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross); 6 months to 3 years of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing; CCRN certification; relevant skills certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC as required by the home unit.
• Additional Information: The role focuses on surgical care in the Operating Room specialty, with exposure to cardiothoracic and general surgery procedures. The position may require participation in call shifts ending from the last worked shift until the next scheduled shift, including every other weekend. The nurse may be asked to cover general surgery cases depending on volume.
