Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in West Virginia. This role involves supporting a busy surgical unit specializing in total joints and ENT procedures, with a focus on circulating and scrubbing duties across multiple service lines. The assignment requires a strong surgical background, particularly in total joints and ENT, and offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic perioperative team.

Job Details:

• Location: FAIRMONT, West Virginia
• Schedule: Rotating shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM and 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, rotating every 2 to 4 weeks, with a stay late schedule. No night, weekend, or holiday shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association). Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of circulating experience in various service lines, including total joints, ENT, urology, podiatry, hand-orthopedics, plastics, and pacemakers. Prior scrub experience is required, and candidates must be registered nurses or surgical technologists. Must be comfortable with Epic - OpTime electronic charting system.
• Additional Information: Shifts involve supporting a surgical team with dedicated surgical scrubs (light blue), and require OR hats and masks. Orientation includes 2 days of unit-specific training. No float requirements at this time. The facility is a care setting within an acute division, utilizing EPIC for charting.
• Shift Hours and Minimum Hours Per Week: 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
