Job Summary:
The Albany, New York facility is seeking a Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician for a day shift position. The role involves supporting surgical procedures with a focus on cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular specialties, requiring strong clinical expertise to ensure patient safety and procedural success. The position is scheduled for 10-hour shifts with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days; 10 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification as Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA); relevant surgical experience including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures; local candidates (excluding ineligible counties); ability to review pending state licenses; 0 years of experience minimum
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular surgery
• Additional Information: This position may require on-call responsibilities and float to other units as needed. The candidate will work in a facility utilizing electronic medical records; specific scrub colors/dress code and parking details are set by the organization. The role is crucial for supporting a surgical team operating in a high-volume facility with a commitment to clinical excellence.
