Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing comprehensive emergency care in a busy Level 1 Trauma Center. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care across all age groups, working with a specialized emergency medicine team in a fast-paced environment. The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, and mid shifts, with a start date of 08/17/2026.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred, 1 year of nursing experience in emergency or critical care settings, located within 60 miles or greater to the facility, able to start within 7-10 days and willing to work all shift times
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience, critical care experience, certification in emergency nursing (CEN) preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will work in the Emergency Department of a Level 1 Trauma Center, providing care to diverse patient populations including trauma, cardiac, pediatric, and adult patients. Complete and clear screenings are required prior to start date, including PA State Police clearance, FBI Department of Aging fingerprinting, and PA Department of Human Services Child Abuse Clearance. The facility is located at 1086 Franklin Street, Johnstown, PA 15905.
