Description

Job Summary:
A Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) registered nurse position is available in the Minneapolis area. This role involves providing family-centered nursing care for infants, children, and adolescents in a pediatric critical care environment. The position requires the ability to float between designated hospitals as needed, supporting the healthcare provider's mission to deliver exceptional patient care.

Job Details:

Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license or Minnesota Temporary Permit-RN, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, and 18 months PICU nursing experience which includes experience caring for pre-operative and immediate post-operative PICU surgical patients, trauma patients, or 18 months pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing experience and competency in caring for pre-operative, immediate post-operative cardiac surgical patients, and pre- and post-cardiac procedural patients.
Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The selected candidate must be willing to float between two hospital locations in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro area and be available to start ASAP, with orientation sessions scheduled on 8/10 and potentially 8/24 (pending approval).
