Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse in Worcestershire, Massachusetts. This position involves providing direct clinical care to patients in the post-anesthesia recovery setting on a temporary assignment. The role requires supervising staff and supporting high standards of patient safety and care within the organization.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); current nursing license; active, unrestricted licensure in Massachusetts; minimum of 0 years of current PACU experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU); pediatric or neonatal care experience; experience with electronic documentation systems.
  • Additional Information: This is a non-trauma environment, located at least 250 miles away from any trauma center. Nurses can park in visitor parking and will need to enter on the North side, crossing over to the south side to take the elevator to the first floor. Shifts in the operating room are 8, 10, and 12 hours. Dedicated scrubs are provided and are worn in the same color as staff. The operating room call rotation includes one first call (11 p.m. to 7 a.m.) and one second call (11 p.m. to 7 a.m.) per month, with one weekend day every other month.
