Description

Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical with Telemetry nursing position is available in Massachusetts. This role involves providing patient care in a level 1 trauma unit with experience in electronic health record systems and adherence to established clinical protocols. The position requires working night shifts, with weekends on a rotating basis, and is suitable for professionals seeking a full-time assignment at the organization.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association, previous experience in medical-surgical units with telemetry, and the ability to work a minimum of 36 hours per week. Experience with electronic health records and clinical protocols is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, and level 1 trauma experience.
  • Float: Float to other units is not required.
  • Additional Information: The position involves working every other weekend, with floating occurring in 4-hour blocks while on shift. New hires must be separated from the organization for a minimum of 6 months if previously employed on a permanent, per diem, or contractual basis. Upon submission, a BILH coversheet is required, and Epic system experience is mandatory. The organization will conduct IVS review prior to candidate consideration.
