Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart specialist position located in Los Angeles, California. This role involves providing surgical support for cardiac procedures, including Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), aortic valve replacement (AVR), mitral valve repair (MVR), and thoracotomy surgeries. The position requires a skilled healthcare professional to deliver exceptional patient care within an acute care setting.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, with call required. The schedule includes every other weekend.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), COVID-19 vaccination, and licensure to submit credentials. No minimum years of experience specified, but a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy procedures is highly desirable.
• Additional Information: The healthcare organization requires candidates familiar with the Cerner charting system and able to work in an acute division. The facility allows for up to 4 shift cancellations during a 13-week assignment or 3 for shorter assignments.
