Description
Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) position in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves working in a cardiovascular intensive care environment with responsibilities across cardiac critical care. The position requires strong experience with pulmonary artery (PA) lines, transvenous pacing, and familiarity with mechanical circulatory support devices such as intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and Impella. The schedule includes rotating shifts or 12-hour nights, based on ongoing discussions.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts or 12-hour nights; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: RN license required at time of submission; experience in cardiovascular critical care with proficiency in PA lines, transvenous pacing, and MCS devices; CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA certifications are required; no local travelers accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with surgical or medical cardiac patients, particularly with PA lines and MCS such as IABP and Impella.
- Additional Information: Orientation occurs weekly every Monday barring holidays. Candidates must be separated from the facility for at least six months if previously employed there HCPs who have worked within the last six months are ineligible. Parking may cost up to $43 per day.
