Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Glendale, California. This position involves providing postoperative patient care in a same-day surgery environment. The RN will be responsible for managing patient recovery after anesthesia, ensuring safe and effective recovery procedures are followed, and collaborating with the surgical team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (5:30am 6:00pm), minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, PACU experience, Pre-Operative experience in urology, orthopedics, plastics surgeries, at least 1 year of travel experience, 4+ years of specialty experience, outstanding IV skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: PACU experience is preferred but not required, some experience in Post-Operative Care Units is beneficial.
• Float: Float rotation may be required; travelers should be flexible to work in different clinical areas as needed.
• Additional Information:
  • Traveler must be available to work on one of the following holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day.
  • References are required and should be outlined per the profile or provided upon request.
  • The assignment will begin on 09/01/2026, lasting up to 6 weeks, with deadlines for application by 08/11/2026 or 08/18/2026.
  • The address for this assignment is 1812 Verdugo Blvd, Glendale, CA 91208.
  • Dress code is hot red scrubs, with parking available adjacent to the hospital.
  • No on-call requirements.
  • Travel pairs are not suitable; travelers must work different schedules/days.
  • Priority is given to returning travelers with prior successful assignments at Verdugo Hills Hospital.
