Description

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Endoscopy located in New York, NY. This position involves providing care within the endoscopy unit, with shifts scheduled during the day. The role requires prior experience in both children's and adult patient populations, along with specific certifications and license requirements. The assignment offers a flexible schedule with a focus on patient safety and operational efficiency.

Job Details:

  • Shift Time: Days, 7.5 hours per shift, with shifts typically starting at 6:30 am or 8:30 am and ending at 3:00 pm or 5:00 pm.
  • Schedule: 7.5-hour shifts, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Start Date: 09/14/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Current New York State RN license; at least 2 years of recent experience in endoscopy or related specialty within the last 3 years; ACLS, PALS, and AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications; experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR); willingness to float within appropriate skill areas; experience with pediatric and adult patient care.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or similar pediatric certification; prior travel or local experience acceptable upon review; willing to work in a fast-paced endoscopy environment.
  • Additional Information: Uniform requirements include navy bottoms with white tops or all white attire with matching shoes. The candidate must meet all certification and skill checklist requirements matching the orders skill set. Offers are valid for 48 business hours, and candidates without confirmation within this period may have the opportunity rescinded.
