Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) care is needed in Tucson, Arizona. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, or a temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure for the current state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months is preferred.
• Additional Information: The nurse will evaluate patient responses, document assessments and care activities, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include providing clinical care based on best evidence, participating in unit or facility shared leadership, and supporting the growth and education of team members, patients, and families. The role involves frequent interaction with staff across departments, physicians, external healthcare providers, and patients.
