Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Poughkeepsie, New York. Job Details:

• Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
• Schedule: Days shift, 11.5 hours per shift, minimum of 34.5 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, certification in perioperative nursing or operating room nursing, high school diploma or GED equivalent, current state-issued nursing license, at least 1 year of surgical nursing experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in the operating room setting, familiarity with surgical instruments and procedures, BLS and ACLS certifications, experience with sterile techniques and patient monitoring
• Additional Information: The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and monitoring patient vitals. Clinical skills in managing anesthesia, patient positioning, and post-operative care are essential. The assignment begins on 09/14/2026.
