Job Summary
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor Nurse Boston, Massachusetts. This position involves providing patient care in a modern, adult acute rehab unit rated #2 in the nation and #1 in the Northeast for rehabilitation. The role requires working with an experienced team, administering treatments to patients with complex medical needs, and utilizing strong medical-surgical skills during 12-hour day shifts every other weekend.
Job Details
- Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, no minimum years of experience specified, necessary certifications include BLS (Basic Life Support),Strong med/surg skills, experience with telemetry monitoring, IV maintenance, competency with central lines, PICCs, Ports, TPN, and IV medication administration, located in Boston, Massachusetts
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in adult acute rehab, certification in advanced skills such as ACLS or TNCC is a plus
- Additional Information: The unit specializes in patients with primary diagnoses of polytrauma, burns, complex medical courses in acute care, prolonged ICU stays, wounds, cardiac surgeries, major organ transplants; care involves telemetry monitoring and IV therapy among other clinical skills
