Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse in Ithaca, New York. This role involves providing specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia within a community hospital setting. The position offers a rotating day and evening schedule that supports flexible staffing needs, with on-call responsibilities included.

Job Details:

Location: Ithaca, NY
Shift Schedule: Rotating day/evening shifts (Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift), Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
Start Date: 10/25/2026
Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), New York State RN license, 1+ years of clinical experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, 36 hours minimum per week.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in perioperative or PACU nursing, certification in post-anesthesia recovery.
Schedule: The position involves shifts varying from early morning to late evening, including rotating days and nights, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours weekly.
Additional Information: This role requires on-call availability approximately 3-4 weeknights and one 24-hour weekend call per an 8-week cycle, with call hours primarily from 9 PM to 7 AM during weeknights and 7 AM to 7 AM on weekends. Call requirements may fluctuate based on staffing needs.
