Description

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a healthcare facility in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for diverse patient populations in a high-acuity setting. The position emphasizes delivering quality, patient-centered care aligned with organizational standards and professional nursing practices.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift with a total of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of Arizona or hold a compact RN licensure for the state of practice. BLS certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. Additional related education and/or experience are desirable.
  • Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs across physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural domains. Responsibilities include formulating and updating individualized care plans, executing nursing interventions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role may involve supervision of other healthcare personnel and participation in research and quality improvement activities. All functions are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
