Job Summary:
An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nurse position is available in Arlington Heights, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized critical care for patients in a 36-bed ICU unit, including neuro, cardiac, and medical surgical patients. The position features a 12-hour daytime shift from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with scheduling flexibility for as-needed weekend, holiday, and other operational requirements.

Job Details:

• Location: Arlington Heights, Illinois
• Schedule: 12-hour Day shift, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Illinois Nursing License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); 2+ years of strong ICU experience; proficient in EPIC charting; travel experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: As Needed. Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Nurse to patient ratio: 1:2 or 2-3 depending on acuity
  • Orientation: Wednesdays every other week, next orientation scheduled for 08/26
  • Orientation Duration: 6 hours (non-billable)
  • Submission requirements include an updated resume, completed skills checklist within the last 12 months, one reference within the last 12 months, and IL license verification.
  • This role starts approximately two weeks from the offer date.
