Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is located in Arlington Heights, IL. This role involves providing specialized care in a 36-bed ICU with units focused on neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical care. The candidate will deliver patient care in a fast-paced environment, supporting patients with varying acuity levels. The assignment is scheduled to start on 08/30/2026 and conclude on 11/22/2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Illinois license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification, 2+ years of strong ICU experience, experience with EPIC (Electronic Health Record system) charting, and travel experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: As needed.
• Additional Information:
  • Experience with neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical ICU patients preferred.
  • Nurse to patient ratio of approximately 1:2 or 2-3 depending on acuity.
  • Orientation occurs every other Wednesday, with the next scheduled orientation on 08/26.
  • Submission requirements include an updated resume, a skills checklist completed within the past 12 months, one reference completed within the past 12 months, and Illinois license verification.
