Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) on a Night shift in Bad Axe, Michigan. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care, assessing patient needs, and implementing nursing interventions in a fast-paced hospital environment. The RN will work an average of 36 hours per week and is expected to deliver high-quality care aligned with hospital policies and procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan license; BLS (American Heart Association) certification; 0+ years of medical-surgical experience required; ICU experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: ICU experience; completed skills checklist within one year of application; references not required; Michigan license verification (LARA and Nursys) preferred
• Additional Information: The RN role involves direct and indirect patient care for a diverse patient population, with an emphasis on growth and development over the lifespan. The position requires the ability to assess biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, and discharge planning factors. Submission of a skills checklist completed within one year is mandatory.
