Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care in Grand Junction, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for critically ill patients, ensuring their health and safety are prioritized.

Job Details:

• Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
• Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Certifications: Current RN license in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Experience: 1+ years of minimum experience
• Responsibilities include performing nursing care, health data assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy, and treatment planning.
• Additional duties may include resource utilization, executing medical functions, patient referrals, treatment plan monitoring, and clinical documentation.
• The role may require floating to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs.
• May be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
• Educational requirements include graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required; Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Certifications as appropriate for the unit or service are preferred.
