Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit Neurological specialty position is located in Falls Church, Virginia. This role involves providing advanced neurological intensive care with an emphasis on patient monitoring and stabilization. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of working in a dynamic neuro-critical environment.

Job Details:

• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certifications are preferred
• Education Requirements: Relevant healthcare education with active certifications, minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting
• Location Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the United States; position based in Falls Church, VA
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with rotating shifts including every other weekend and every other holiday; first to float to Neuro Intensive Care Unit if needed
• Additional Information: The role involves working in a neuro-intensive environment with patient ratios of 1:2, flexible acuity-based adjustments, and requires Epic electronic medical record (EMR) access. Staff will wear navy blue scrubs with solid navy or white tops, and orientation includes two initial shifts with additional as needed.
