Job Summary:
This Medical Surgical Rehabilitation (MS REHAB) Nurse position is located in Salem, Virginia. The role involves providing inpatient care on a 35-bed unit focused on rehabilitation services. The nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate patient functional improvements and support patient goals for independence. The shift schedule consists of 12-hour shifts, working every other weekend.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Virginia nursing license, and experience in Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Preferred Qualifications: Rehabilitation experience.
• Additional Information: Opportunity to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team including Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to impact patient functional outcomes.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
