Description

Job Summary:
Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse position in Midland, Michigan. This role involves providing skilled nursing care to ambulatory surgery patients, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and responding to patient needs. The position requires collaboration with healthcare team members to evaluate and update patient care plans, ensuring quality recovery support.

Job Details:

Schedule: Shift time is during the day, with 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Two or more years of registered nurse (RN) experience, pre/post-operative experience, Phase II experience, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience, Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience, active Michigan license, current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications, and candidate's permanent address must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
Preferred Qualifications: Epic EMR experience.
Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA).
State Licenses: Michigan license must be active and verifiable via LARA and/or Nursys.
Start Date: 08/24/2026.
Additional Information: The candidate must submit two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years and demonstrate relevant work history and skills pertinent to ambulatory surgery nursing.
