Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse position in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized care in a 40-bed Level III NICU environment. The candidate will work on a rotating shift schedule with every other weekend, covering 12-hour shifts. The position requires a dedicated NICU nurse with at least 2 years of experience in a Level 3-4 NICU setting and certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, days/nights, with every other weekend required. 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), minimum of 2 years of NICU experience in a Level 3-4 NICU, valid nursing license, and recent clinical experience in a similar setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic fetal monitoring, previous experience in command or leadership roles within NICU, strong interpersonal skills.
- Additional Information: BILH coversheet required at submission. Orientation occurs weekly every Monday, excluding holidays. Candidates must provide availability for interview dates and times at the time of submission. No local travelers will be accepted (candidates cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility). Paid parking is available in parking garages. Public transportation is accessible from the location.
