Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) in Tuscaoosa, Alabama. This position involves working in a high-acuity cardiac intensive care environment, providing specialized monitoring and treatment to adult patients with complex cardiac conditions. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a safe and secure setting.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours minimum per week, starting on 09/14/2026
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license for the State of Alabama or a compact license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, AHA Nurse Intersection of Hemodialysis (NIHSS) certification, minimum 2 years of experience (considering 18 months with high-level license and at least 1 recent year in the specialty)
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification for pediatric unit work
- Additional Information: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Availability for holidays and every other weekend required. The role involves patient-facing clinical responsibilities, with the facility utilizing Meditech electronic medical record system. The position is based at a facility located at 809 University Blvd, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 35401.
