Job Summary:
The facility is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) for a surgical unit in Arlington, Texas. The role involves supporting surgical procedures within a busy hospital setting, providing technical assistance in the operating room environment, and ensuring patient safety and quality standards are upheld. The position will be scheduled for night shifts, with a focus on flexibility and teamwork.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification as an Operating Room Technician, 0 years of experience minimum, valid basic life support (BLS) certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Neuro experience or Endoscopic Reprocessing Certification Program (ECRP) experience, vascular experience, or advanced procedure skills
• Additional Information: The unit performs a variety of surgical procedures (excluding transplants). The staff includes a charge RN, RNs, Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs), anesthesia technicians, orderlies, and equipment technicians, with patient ratios typically at 1:1. Equipment used includes operating room advanced equipment and the Meditech electronic medical record system. The team operates under hospital policies and guidelines, with on-call and holiday coverage requirements.
