Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Medical Surgical (MS) care provides high-quality nursing services on a Med-Surg acute care unit within a healthcare facility located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The role involves delivering patient-centered care during night shifts and participating in a call rotation. The position offers opportunities for travelers to assist with an increasing patient census due to orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cardiac procedures, and various acute and chronic illnesses.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shift with weekend rotation; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current RN license to work in Colorado; at least 2 years of Acute Care, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, or similar RN experience; current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association; current ACLS certification (AHA).
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position requires a minimum of 75 miles to be maintained between the traveler's permanent address and the healthcare facility. Candidates or agencies must register in the state's professional licensing system, with full compliance regarding SS# and DOB in the designated system to avoid onboarding delays. Guaranteed hours do not apply on holidays.
