Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) in Fredericksburg, TX. The position involves supporting surgical procedures within a facility that features multiple operating rooms and advanced surgical equipment. The role requires providing efficient and safe perioperative support during scheduled shifts, ensuring compliance with unit policies and patient safety standards.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 9 hours per day, minimum of 36.0 hours per week, beginning 09/07/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT); no minimum years of experience specified; candidates should be located in or willing to commute to Fredericksburg, TX
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Orthopedic, General, Robotics, Vascular, or Gynecological procedures; excellent personality fit for fast-paced surgical environment
- Additional Information: The unit has 5 operating rooms with a patient ratio of 1:1, using advanced surgical equipment including ENT microscopes, Boston Scientific Mose Laser, Stryker towers, Intuitive Robot X series, Stealth ENT navigation, Olympus ENDO, ERCP, and EUS scopes. On-call responsibilities are 2-3 days per week, including 1-2 weekends per month. Scrub attire is hospital-provided scrubs, and the unit adheres to specific policies and guidelines.
