Description

Job Summary:
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse position in a 10-bed Heart Failure ICU within a large Magnet designation medical center. The role involves specialized hemodynamic monitoring, requiring experience with Swan-Ganz catheters for LVAD and Heart Transplant patients. Preference is given to candidates with device experience such as LVAD, IABP, or Impella.

Job Details:

Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid Driver's License or State ID; completion of UHS Skills Checklist, UHS Submission Packet, UHS Prior Employment Form; minimum of 3 years of experience in ICU or relevant specialty; reliable transportation and current licensure or registration as a healthcare professional.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Swan-Ganz catheter placement for hemodynamic monitoring, LVAD, IABP, or Impella device experience.
Additional Information: The position involves working in a high-acuity cardiac ICU setting, focusing on patients with advanced heart failure, LVADs, and post-heart transplant care. Candidates must demonstrate competency in hemodynamic assessment and emergency response protocols.
