Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: unspecified. This position involves providing patient care in a Magnet-accredited, Level II Trauma acute hospital setting. The role requires working rotating night shifts, with responsibilities within a co-care/virtual nursing model, supporting adult and geriatric patient populations with medical and surgical diagnoses.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS required. For Auto Offer, AK RN license must be in hand; license application must be submitted within 48 hours of signing. Pending license accepted, but state license is required at time of Auto Offer.
- Education Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of clinical experience; valid AK RN license in hand required for Auto Offer.
- Location Requirements: Candidate must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
- Years of Experience: 1 year minimum required.
- Schedule: Night Shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include managing adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as cancer, lung, heart disease, diabetes, dementia, and substance use disorder. The unit utilizes a co-care/virtual nursing model, with bedside nurses, virtual RNs working remotely, and CNAs.
- Willingness to float within scope to like units, and candidate must be flexible to work weekends and holidays as part of the staffing needs.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses to prior work at Providence facilities, and provide two references covering at least one year within the last three years prior to start.
