Description

Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) specialty position is based in Santa Monica, California. This role involves providing critical post-anesthesia recovery care in an acute care hospital setting. The position starts on 09/14/2026, with a flexible schedule that includes day shifts and on-call shifts, supporting continuous patient care.

Job Details:

Schedule: 12-hour shift hours, starting between 0900-1100, Monday through Friday, with an average of 6 on-call shifts per two-week pay period, involving weeknights and weekends.
Required Qualifications: Valid California license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications, minimum 0 years experience in PACU, including arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, and dysrhythmia recognition/management.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a community hospital and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
Additional Information: Candidates must be able to work three out of five major holidays and must include RTO (Request for Time Off) at the time of submission. Willingness to float between units is not required.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
