Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Certified Nursing Position in North Carolina. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, with a focus on patients with complex needs. The Clinical Nurse will coordinate and deliver patient-centered care, participate in patient education, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing; licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from AHA or ARC; 2+ years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience required, 1 year of nursing experience with at least 1 year in a PCU setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Additional Information: Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform complex patient assessments, care planning, bedside point of care testing, and maintain compliance with healthcare standards. Strong communication skills, cultural competence, and ability to prioritize tasks for patients with complex problems are essential. Candidate will participate in interdisciplinary collaboration, patient discharge planning, and quality improvement activities.
