Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) position in Oakland, California. This role involves providing advanced patient care in a high-acuity environment, supporting clinical teams with critical nursing skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position begins on 08/24/2026 and offers a comprehensive clinical scope tailored to each patient's needs.
Job Details:
- Location: Oakland, California
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, minimum 36 hours per week
- Certifications and Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of California; current Basic Life Support (BLS); current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Experience: 0 years minimum (recent ICU experience preferred but not required)
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field; two (2) years of recent ICU nursing experience preferred; NIH Stroke Scale certification; CCRN certification preferred; dialysis, SLED, or equivalent experience preferred
- Additional Information: Candidates must have a valid license and certifications as specified. The ICU environment requires adherence to hospital protocols and clinical standards to support patient safety and quality of care.
