Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Tucson, AZ. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in a high-acuity emergency care environment. The ER Nurse is responsible for delivering patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards, utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to meet the physical, psychological, and social needs of diverse patient populations.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, no minimum years of experience required, located in Arizona, willing to work nights, and capable of performing as an ER nurse in an acute care setting
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing; professional certification in emergency nursing or related specialty preferred
- Additional Information: The role involves providing comprehensive emergency care, managing rapid patient assessments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining detailed documentation of nursing interventions and patient responses. The ER nurse may participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to a clinical team committed to delivering safe, effective, and equitable patient care. There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.
