Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) registered nurse in Morristown, New Jersey. This role involves utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for critically ill medical and surgical patients undergoing invasive procedures in specialties such as Interventional Radiology, Endovascular Surgery, and Neurosurgical interventions. The RN will be responsible for assisting with invasive procedures, collaborating with the healthcare team, maintaining required competencies, and providing professional critical care nursing within an integrated health care system.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., with on-call responsibilities required. Weekend rotations are also required.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey; experience in Interventional Radiology or catheterization laboratory; excellent communication and computer skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: N/A
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: RN will have the ability to assist with invasive procedures in the specialties of Interventional Radiology, Endovascular Surgery, and Neurosurgical interventions, utilizing aseptic techniques per AORN guidelines. Collaboration with all members of the health care team will be essential to promote evidence-based care. Candidates must develop and maintain all required competencies related to the care and management of the Interventional Radiology patient population and demonstrate PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity, and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
