Description
Job Summary:
The operating room transplant registered nurse (RN) position is located in Dallas, Texas. This outpatient role involves supporting transplant services for abdominal liver, kidney, and pancreas procedures. The RN will perform desk-based duties utilizing computer systems and may assist with patient assessments and clinic days as needed, requiring flexibility and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, 0 years of experience, located in or willing to relocate to Dallas, Texas
- Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of transplant experience, experience working with United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) or Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) is a plus
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The position involves primarily desk work with proficient MediTech and Microsoft capabilities. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility in patient assignments across pre, waitlist, and post solid organ transplant patients. The role may include clinic days involving patient rooming and assessments, with opportunities for WebEx meetings. The dress code is royal blue scrubs or business casual.
