Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse position is based in a healthcare facility located in Elko, Nevada. This role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients with high-acuity conditions in a fast-paced environment. The position offers an opportunity to work in a facility focused on delivering quality critical care services.

Job Details:

• Location: Elko, Nevada
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ART lines, central lines, ventilators, BIPAP, post-cardiac catheterization care, post-surgical care, moderate sedation, chest tube management, electrolyte management, and telemetry skills
• Unit Information:
  • Number of beds: 7
  • Patient ratios: 2:1 for higher acuity ICU level patients, 5:1 for medical-surgical overflow
  • Equipment: IV pumps, sequential compression devices (SCDs), telemetry, bedside monitoring, telemetry
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR): Med Host
• Unit Profile: Care for adult and geriatric patient population, managing conditions such as COPD, CHF, respiratory failure, overdose, alcohol withdrawal, DKA, STEMI, AMI, and stroke
• Additional Information: The position requires the ability to report to work within 30 minutes if on call. Candidates should be independent, self-motivated, focused, and capable of managing their time effectively. The assignment begins on 09/14/2026.
