Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart Nurse in Savannah, Georgia. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care in a dedicated cardiovascular operating room environment. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with procedures such as CABG, TAVR, AVR, MVR, thoracic surgery, and AAA repair, ensuring patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.

Job Details:

Position: Operating Room Open Heart Nurse
Location: Savannah, Georgia
Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of cardiovascular operating room experience; Certification in surgical technologist; Strong procedural skills for CABG, TAVR, AVR, MVR, thoracic surgery, AAA repair; Valid certification in surgical technologist
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic documentation system; Knowledge of hospital policies and guidelines; Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Additional Information: The unit is staffed with 1 RN and 1 CST per room, equipped with advanced equipment and technology.
