Job Summary
Renown Regional is seeking a highly experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Reno, Nevada. The position involves delivering specialized nursing care to neonatal patients within a Level 3 NICU or higher, requiring ventilator training and a minimum of three years of dedicated NICU experience. This role offers the opportunity to work night shifts with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours, providing comprehensive patient care in a state-of-the-art facility.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 3x12 night shifts per week, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada Registered Nurse license, BLS certification, NRP certification, minimum of 3 years exclusive NICU experience in level 3 NICU or higher, ventilator trained, prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment
  • Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to meet the needs of the organization up to their competency level. Expect to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period. Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts. The department may call off shifts with 48 hours' notice without penalty.
  • Responsibilities: Provide optimal neonatal patient care utilizing nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills. Coordinate care among healthcare professionals, considering family involvement and patient psychosocial needs. Maintain standards of quality and safety, ensuring patient/resident outcomes across a full episode of care.
