Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse, Jacksonville This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a surgical services unit that features 20 operating rooms. The role requires experienced professionals to coordinate patient care, assist in procedures, and ensure adherence to unit policies during night shift hours.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid certifications including PALS, BLS, ACLS; at least 2 years of experience with charge nurse responsibilities; trauma level I or II experience; and relevant surgical nursing skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with TNCC or TCAR certification.
- Additional Information: The unit employs MEDITECH documentation systems; provides scrubs for staff; and fosters a family-like atmosphere with a focus on patient satisfaction. Candidates should be adaptable to the unit's policies and capable of working in a fast-paced, trauma-affected environment.
