Job Summary:
Step Down Unit Nurse Nashville, Tennessee. This position involves providing advanced nursing care on a specialized neuro stepdown and acute care unit. The role requires effective patient management, critical thinking, and collaboration to ensure quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licenses or certifications in BLS, ACLS; relevant experience in acute care and neuro stepdown nursing; Tennessee state licensure or eligibility; at least 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior neuro stepdown experience; strong critical thinking and time management skills.
• Float: Float rotation may be required for experienced nurses after orientation.
• Additional Information:
  • Certification in BLS is required for Acute Care; BLS and ACLS for Neuro Stepdown.
  • Common procedures on the unit include lumbar puncture and chest tube placement.
  • The dress code is specified with options for black, blue, or grey scrubs, and Friday scrubs can be any color.
  • Patient experience focus includes bedside shift reports, personal connection, and daily huddles.
