Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Hyannis, Massachusetts. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The ER RN will administer medications, monitor patient responses, and guide ancillary personnel. The position requires a proactive approach to patient care, documentation, safety procedures, and clinical proficiency in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; licensure as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification; at least 2 years recent emergency room RN experience; at least 1 year ER travel experience; skills in IV administration, IV starts, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring; must read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certification in de-escalation, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
  • Additional Information: The ER RN will participate in staff meetings, safety protocols, and patient care assessments, adhering to hospital policies and safety guidelines. Maintains ongoing professional development and community representation. Performs various clinical duties including patient assessments, documentation, and resource consultation.
