Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts. This role involves providing patient care in a level 1 trauma environment, with a focus on adult medical-surgical units that include telemetry monitoring. The RN will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care delivery, responding to patient needs, and floating to various units as required.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, with weekly start dates on Mondays.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS-American Heart Association certification, Epic electronic health record experience. Candidates must have at least 0 years of experience in medical-surgical settings and be separated from the organization for a minimum of 6 months to be considered (perm, per diem, or contract).
  • Preferred Qualifications: ACLS-AHA certification, NIHSS certification, level 1 trauma experience.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required in 4-hour blocks while on shift; floating occurs in 4-hour segments, though occurrences are rare.
  • Additional Information: BILH coversheet required at time of submission. Day one pass/fail testing will be administered with Relias practice tests available via Relias. Every other weekend work is required Saturdays and Sundays for day shifts, Fridays through Sundays for night shifts. BLS-AHA certification is mandatory; ACLS-AHA and NIHSS are preferred. Candidates should have experience in level 1 trauma or be willing to obtain it if no prior travel experience has occurred. The candidate must be separated from the organization for at least 6 months to be eligible.
