Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in Burlington, Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a step-down unit, managing a diverse patient population requiring close monitoring and intervention. Night shift schedules with every other weekend work are expected, along with float responsibilities to various operational areas as needed.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Starting from 08/31/2026, with weekly start dates (Mondays).
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a registered nurse, Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), and able to titrate pressors please include in write-up. Epic experience is required. Must be able to perform day one pass/fail testing, with Relias practice tests available via Relias. Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and other boarding units may be required; floating occurs in 4-hour blocks while on shift. Candidates with level 1 trauma experience are preferred; if no prior travel experience, level 1 trauma experience will be required. Candidates must have been separated from the employment organization for a minimum of 6 months to be eligible. IVS to manager for approval.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS from the American Heart Association (AHA), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification. Level 1 trauma experience is preferred.
• Additional Information: BILH coversheet required at time of submission. Ratios will be between 1:3-5.
